Sewing

Beautiful things come together
one stitch at a time.

  • Tudor Blue

A Tudor era inspired dress using self-drafted patterns based on research. I created the bodice, overskirt, underskirt, chemise, bloomers, and hoop skirt for this outfit (2017).

  • Wedding Cloak

I created this floor length double sided cloak for my cousin’s January wedding in Idaho. It is a wool coating on one side, and a red velvet on the other, designed in a way that allows it to be reversible using purchased pattern (2018). The wool was treated to make it more water resistant.

  • Olive Edwardian Dream

My first exploration into the Edwardian era, and I am in love with this gown. I made the bodice, skirt, petticoat, bloomers, chemise, and hat to complete this outfit using purchased patterns (2020).
